It’s not about heat. It’s about be respectful to people. Just because you are on a computer doesn’t mean you should treat people with insults that are unnecessary and untrue. It doesn’t make your case at all.
No again on the Constitution. Your argument is not strong enough to change the Constitution.
There are staff and policy changes coming that will address the issues with people like Fauci. There is no need for a Constitional change on these matters.
Here is a Bill that was introduced in 2023 on this topic. Appears to be no movement. Text (9 pages) is included at the link to read the details of the Bill for comment on additions or changes.

If you want respect, earn it. Your ideas are what bring on the scorn.
Not strong enough for you perhaps, but I wonder what will happen when the states get a chance to consider and vote on changes. I’ll bet on the collective wisdom of the people as expressed through representatives closer to where they live. I don’t fear the process and neither did my ancestors - who were in the colonies more than 150 years before the US Constitution was written.
You continue to make my point. Congress has become ineffective, vacillating on issues of importance and changing with the political wind. No nation in history has ever survived such leadership unless it changed it.
Ahr the conversation is over. You are way off topic anyway. I don’t agree with you. Move on. Your insults are discrediting you. You are just coming off as abusive. Get some help.
I might not be on the topic you want me to be on, but the topic of constitutional change is all over this web site.
If you think my posts are abusive, you need a thicker skin. I grew up in a world where things I’ve said would have been considered perfectly normal and made effective, colorful points. I even engaged in this kind of badinage with my college professors without their taking offense. Those who think I’ve done myself discredit are those whose opinions I care not a whit about.
I probably need help in many areas of life; but in this particular, I am in no need of help. But, thank you for thinking of my welfare, little as it was meant for my benefit, only to try to insult me. Sorry to disappoint.
There is a quote often attributed to Mark Twain (although that origin is doubtful) that goes like this:
“Never argue with a fool. Onlookers might not be able to tell the difference.”
I’ll leave it to others to decide whether they see two fools or one, and which that one might be.
Move on. Get help. End of story.
Why not just break the sanctuary cities. Florida just passed laws making deportation easier when Trump gets into office. If Tom started with a focus on cooperative red states, you would find millions of illegals fleeing to blue states. This has many advantages. you start the deportation job working with people who want to work with you so you can fine tune the process. You clean up the red states first locking in the base. The flight of illegals to blue states will quickly break those states and the people will turn against their democrat politicians as budgets explode. Come the mid-terms Republicans can offer big states like CO, and CA a way back from the brink. If you start deportations in CA , Illinois and NY, you will find you are being set up and the bad press will set you on the back foot. Start where it will be easy and you will look good.
Very well thought out and stated. Now we just need to convince our new masters. . .
CO can probably be rehabilitated, but California is beyond hope. The only solution is to divorse them from the Union and wall them off physically and politically. Anyone wanting to leave CA must be vetted to the highest degree to prevent the disease of socialism spreading. It may be possible to rescue the eastern side of the state but the coastal area is pretty much gone.
