Campaign Contributions

No entity that cannot cast a vote for a candidate (i.e., resides within the jurisdiction of the candidate) should be allowed to contribute to a campaign. Corporations (for profit and not for profit) are not persons, cannot cast a vote, and should be prohibited from making contributions. Attempts to circumvent (for instance funneling funds to individuals for the purpose of contribution to a campaign) should result in revocation of the entity’s charter and subsequent dissolution. PACs should be banned.
