Allow tax deduction of new bed/mattress for people with back or hip problems

Many people have issues with their back or hip(s). These cause loss of work, increase medical expenses, etc. Often, a bed with proper support can significantly help those with these problems, yet Medicare and IRS do not allow for these. Medicare rules make it so that someone has to be pretty much incapacitated in order to get some relief in this manner, for example. A small allowance/investment in supportive bedding could save considerable amounts of money across the country.
