Replace the income tax with a sales tax on new goods. It would eliminate 33% embedded taxes.
Put Ron Paul in charge of our financial future.
End the FED.
Get out of the U.N. and the Paris Climate Accords.
TARIFFS.
END Homestead Property tax for Seniors and Veterans.
I donât understand how income tax at the federal level let alone at the state level is anything short of slavery? Pay taxes on the money you earn through working is one of the most fraudulent things to happen in this country. Income tax needs to end at the federal level and state level for the states that still require its citizens to pay it. This is slavery.
The government can easily get income without taking it from the people. They used to only get income from tariffs. Cutting unneeded 3 letter agencies is a big step to reducing government greed and bring it more in line with the Constitution.
YES!! People should be educated about how the IRS and income tax started, and that the Federal Reserve is not federal, but a private bank. It was never intended by the founding fathers that we have our incomes taxed. It is illegal and meant to keep us financially enslaved. We have been brainwashed that taxes are as inevitable as death, but they are not. I think tariffs and a flat tax on new items could replace income tax. I really hope that President Trump will eradicate the IRS and income tax altogether!
Agree 100% - this is one of the greatest illegal acts against American citizens that needs to be rectified. It is unconstitutional to tax our federal income and the Federal Reserve is a corporation that needs to be dismantled.
Taxes were never legal in the first place.
According to the IRS Code only individuals who are liable, should pay taxes.
How do you become liable? Conduct business with foreign countries and bring those goods and services into the Continental United States.
Tariffs on companies and importers. So 90% of the US Citizens are not in business with foreign entities.
Im 67 had to return to work after battling cancer became the cost of living is so extreme id be living in the streets with only my social security benefits. Fed irs tax me $700 per month. If this $700 was freed up from the shackles of IRS i could afford to live better. Younger generations wouldnât have to rely on the social security system because those funds freed up from irs could be in there 401k account to secure there futures.
I agree. Not disagreeing with the %14 just not
sure what the magic number needs to be. I definitely support a flat tax rate across the board. No filing at the end of the year, no deductions, no refunds, just a flat rate taken off my paycheck every pay day. And maybe after the insurances, social security tax, and Medicare taxes.
H.R. 25 has sat on the desk of Maxine waters since Trump was in office the first time. She was the chairman of the, I believe it was called the finance committee.
Per the Constitution there should be no taxes, thus no tax codes.
As far as the national debt, we should reclaim our tax dollars that have been, letâs say NOT used for the benefit of the American people that the money was taken from under duress - or else.
And should have never started in the first place!
Thank you for sharing, Patty. I completely understand that taxation is not a pleasant experience on citizens. The question is how do we get there from here? Taxes are needed to run a society. Reducing foreign support is a great way to save 60-100 billion dollars. Just not trillions.
The 16th amendment allows for the federal government to collect income taxes.
Citizens should not be taxed directly. Direct taxation is a form of control, the people must comply to fill out forms and file them, reporting on their private activities accurately or will be fined and / or arrested. Taxes are meant to fund the Government, not control and punish free citizens.
We should tax Businesses, charge Royalties, and Tariffs (set above the domestic business tax). With an allowance for low earnings by fledgling start-ups (or a lemonade stand below a threshold). All people spend their money on businesses and are either self-employed, employed by a business, or inherited wealth with which they purchase from businesses. Businesses can do 100% withholding for Social Security as a part of their employee pay, that covers self-employed too. The only ones not covered are those with inherited wealth who donât need it. I believe the Fair Tax works too, but a business tax is imbedded in the product or service and makes it easier to calculate a personâs total costs before the checkout counter. Anyone can still look up the National Domestic Business Tax online so, itâs not hidden.
By the way the Republican party insisted that the Democrats pass the 16th Amendment in order to tax the citizens directly before passing an income tax because without that amendment the Constitution prohibited it. We should go back to not being financially enslaved by the Democrat Party.
Yes. Establish the FairTax (national consumption tax) or some version of it, so we stop punishing peoplesâ income. Or, replace the income tax with Tariffs.
How then would we keep businesses from leaving the United States to conduct business more freely?
We should remove all current taxes and either go to a flat income tax with no loopholes or to a sales tax on items that are above a certain dollar amount. Tariffs are a trade restriction, but may be helpful in building our own internal manufacturing base again instead of relying on cheap (slave) labor found elsewhere
We should tax Businesses, charge Royalties, and Tariffs (set above the domestic business tax)
First line of my second paragraph. Set Tariffs above domestic business Tax. They pay higher Tariffs. This incentivizes Businesses all over the world to move to the U.S.A. if they sell to the U.S.A.
The problem with a flat Tax is it imposes enslavement on the citizen to pay for the government. You must report your wealth to the government, fill out and file forms correctly and pay the Tax to keep your freedom. Thus, you are renting your freedom which the Founders were against. Remember, the 16th Amendment was ratified Feb. 3rd, 1913. I like the Fair Tax but, we already have Business Tax and Tariffs, and an imbedded Business Tax is easier for consumers to calculate what they can afford to pay before they get to the checkout counter.
Make the government smaller. Layoffs due to budget cuts.
